Banana Cupcakes with Caramel Frosting

What to do, what to do with those blackened, mushy, gnat infested bananas? Make my favorite banana bread recipe http://www.marthastewart.com/recipe/banana-bread and spoon the batter into lined cupcake tins for 20-23 minutes in a 350* oven and once cooled, frost with Luscious Caramel Frosting. Enjoy!
Luscious Caramel Frosting
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup milk or half n' half
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 - 2 cups powdered sugar
Bring the sugar, butter and milk to a boil, cook and stir for 3-4 minutes, remove from heat, add vanilla. Cool to lukewarm. Beat in sugar until smooth. Frost immediately.
