Caramel Apple Bread Pudding

Caramel Apple Bread Pudding

I used the following recipe:

But, I made these adjustments:
  • french bread instead of white bread
  • thinly sliced apples tossed with brown sugar, butter and cinnamon, instead of sauteeing them to save time and the bother

And I still found it dry and not sweet enough. Next time, I would add more sugar and milk to the custard and bake it for only 50 minutes so it doesn't dry out. I love the idea of this recipe, it just needs some tweeking. Good luck!
