There are few things I enjoy more in life than giving cake to a one-year-old on their birthday. I love watching the exploration, the unexpected privilege, the "are you sure I can do this?" look on their face, the pure delight, the play, the sweet beginning of childhood.

Oh my goodness- Brian Owen and I loved these pictures! Declan is so adorable, going for the oreo. I love his hair, I love his eyes and I love his hands thrown up like in happiness.
The third picture is the best, he is diving in!

He's such a handsome little guy. Happy Birthday. As far as the cars stuff goes. I think its ingrained. Tage is really into cars and trains right now and he even started making car sounds on his own. Guys!
