The ablation procedure was a success, and may I say, not nearly as hard to recover from as having babies, just mentally scarier, Mark couldn't be there to hold my hand and you don't get a yummy baby at the end. They ended up inserting catheters in my neck and on both sides of my groin (a head's up about the impromptu bikini shave from a cute, male orderly would've been nice) but the surgeon is optimisic that they found the problematic heart tissue and destroyed it. So good riddance!
If I was more up to the task, I'd show you pictures of my recovery scene: the gorgeous sunflowers at my bedside sent from dear George and Marsha, the stack of DVDs and magazines (the John Adams series is so good), bounteous plates of well-wishing goodies, hand-made pictures from the girls, Coke Zeros. I'm well and now even better than ever. Thanks for all the thoughts and calls and prayers. No doubt they all helped. And thank you, Mom, for taking care of my girls.
Well, Mark's yelling at me, "You know you're not allowed to sit up at a 90 degree angle!" So, I'm off to do nothing, while I still have an excuse.
