"There's just no accounting for happiness, or the way it turns up like a prodigal who comes back to the dust at your feet having squandered a fortune far away." (Jane Kenyon)

Hookie

I called my Mom at work and asked her if she wanted to play hookie. "I'm in," she said, and we were off to Discovery Gateway, an awesome children's museum in downtown SLC. We were there for over 3 hours, splashing in kid-size water canals, pretend play in the shopping market, ranch, news station, and theater, climbing rock walls, piloting helicopters, good fun and happy girls. I loved standing back and simply watcing their uninhibited, undistracted childhood, their wonder and pleasure of simple things. Thanks, Mom. Let's do it again.
