I'm 33 now. Yesterday was the day. It was a good day. 
My dearest friend Kelcy sent me gorgeous Gerbera daisies, two years running now (the same Kelcy who dropped everything and drove the 2 1/2 hours from Washington D.C. to Charlottesville, VA to take care of me and my girls when I fell terribly ill and Mark was in Russia). Love you! 
My Mom brought me my favorite chocolate cake and a bag full of gifts, including new drapes for my living room and kitchen--love them! 
And then it was Jack and Tony, followed by a delicious bubblebath, and of course, all those well-wishes from loved ones....thank you.

I actually thought of you two days before your birthday. I should have sent my birthday wishes right then because of course I wouldn't remember on the right day! So typical.

happy late bday. we love gerber daisies too. i didn't know you and mark had birthdays so close to eachother. it sounds like it was a great day.
i didn't realize you were a 24 fan. brian and i watched several seasons on dvd. it kind of sucks you in. are you watching this season's on tv?
oh, btw, i also started reading housekeeping. it's ok so far. i imagine it will get better as i get a bit further into it.
