"There's just no accounting for happiness, or the way it turns up like a prodigal who comes back to the dust at your feet having squandered a fortune far away." (Jane Kenyon)

A Jonas Birthday

So, my oldest baby turned 8-yrs-old on August 21st. Eight! This was her party, everything Jonas Brothers per her request:

Musical Chairs to favorite Jonas tunes

Puckering up for Place a Kiss On Your Favorite Jonas game

Brownie Sundae Bar

And then when it got dark, we watched the Jonas Brothers Live in Concert in our very own backyard (via projector and white sheet)

And for your continued reading pleasure and because I never posted these before, here's July 4th's Stadium of Fire with the Jonas Brothers and just us girls. We all stood on top of our chairs and hollered, sung along (don't tell), and then braced ourselves for the most intense firework's show in the country. We were covered in ashes afterwards, but it was a blast to remember always. I love you, Nick!

Nick's my favorite too. We're not old enough to be cougars are we? ;)

Oh Ann, I love everything about this post--except maybe for the fact that our little girls are eight--EIGHT can you believe it?!? That party looks like an absolute blast. I'll be sure not to let Ashlyn see it, because she'll be so sad we don't live by you anymore! love to you and your family--katie
