Communal

Last night Mark and I went out with some super delightful friends to a super delicious, super cool new restaurant in Provo. (Kim, the supers are for you.)Yes, that's right, in Provo. Take a moment to wrap your head around that one. I think Provo may just be on its way to cool. Here's what we ate:
Mixed peppery greens with grilled peaches, shaved Parmesan, roasted almonds
Roasted beets with Greek yogurt, cumin
Sauteed wild mushrooms, shallots, thyme
Skirt steak with herb-something butter
Braised bacon (or pork belly) with roasted apples
Chocolate and chewy caramel tart (stolen bites from our friends)
Butterscotch pot de creme with house made shortbread and biscotti
